An Aquarium Is Built For Spectators An aquarium is designed so the visitors get a great look at the creatures that live naturally under the sea. Some of the common mistakes done by the aquarium owners are to add new fish within few days after they had set up the tanks. This can turn to be a blunder as in some cases the water would not have stabilised in respects of temperature or the non-neutralised harmful components. It is always advisable to not add too many fish at once with a new aquarium set up as the bacterial colonies may not have been fully established or the ammonia and nitrate levels would be high to suit large number of fish.

· Testing the water for the required specifications is always beneficial. Knowing the nature of the fish is very important because most of the aquarium starters go by the looks of the fish failing to notice the key points on its maintenance.

Aquarium fish can be great and attractive for most people who love to keep fish at home. Even though there is no aquarium fish is maintenance free, but at least there are some fish that easier to keep than other fish.

Bettas

General Goldfish

These goldfish are much more social than the Bettas and they have sparkling colors. They don’t require particular diets and they can tolerate just about any ornament you desire to plop into the aquariums.

But not all goldfish are easy to take care of. You must know that the egg-shaped goldfish that have bubble eyes, swim slowly, no top fin or have long fins are not considered easy to take care of. They should not live in the same aquarium with usual or comet goldfish. It is since they swim so fast that the fan-tailed or egg-shaped goldfish will never be able to get their fair share of food.

The Plecostomus

The name “plecostomus” refers to a family of aquarium fish that has hundreds of kinds. Some of the plecostomus are harder to take care of than others. They are bottom feeders like catfish or Chinese Algae Eaters and require their own types of food.
But any plecostumus you may find in your local pet stores amongst other tropical fish should be easy to keep.
